Kelvin Probus Club is one of many in the UK and overseas. While the movement started in the 1920s in the United States, the British Clubs did not begin until 1965. Our Club was established in 1989. It provides the opportunity for retired and semi-retired professional and businessmen to meet up with like minded others. There is a full programme of talks, walks and other activities from September until May in the following year.
The Club meets bi-monthly on Tuesday mornings; 11:00 am for tea and coffee until start of business at 11:30 am. (Please see programme for more information.) The Club aims to attract a wide range of interesting speakers from the West of Scotland and beyond. The meetings are informal with each speaker talking for about 45 minutes followed by a lively discussion. Our constitution can be viewed here
