Cambuslang To Carntyne via Tollcross Park

This walk started at Cambuslang Station from where we headed north to the river Clyde Walkway. We followed the walkway west before turning off and heading through Dalbeth Cemetery (also known as: St Peters RC Cemetery).  From the exit we turned right up London Road and then left towards Tollcross and into the Sports Centre for a coffee break. From there we entered Tollcross Park and had a look round the small animal enclosure, before heading off into the park itself passing the derelict winter gardens. After a half circuit of the park, at which point our leader announced he was “lost”, we backtracked to the north west exit and headed down hill to Shettleston road and onwards to Carntyne station for our train home.
