The walk started at Possilpark Station from where we set off heading east along the canal. We took a detour round Possil Marshes, normally teeming with wildlife although today there was hardly a bird in sight. Back on the canal, we continued to Bishopbriggs sports centre where we stopped for a tea/coffee break. Some of the walkers decided this was far enough and headed up to the main road at the Eagle Lodge where they caught a bus into town the more enterprising amongst us continued along the canal to Cadder where we turned up to the main road and caught a bus which took us on a mystery tour through Springburn before depositing us at the bus station in the city centre.
